By leveraging ITU’s Policy Experimentation Playbook, the Centre will support the creation of regulatory sandboxes, enabling structured testing of emerging technologies and digital regulations. 

Sandbox Environment

The Centre will accelerate the establishment and operation of an evidence-based sandbox environment for emerging technologies. This Service will entail the following:

• Establishment of an environment that onboards sandboxes operated by various stakeholders in the ecosystem .

• Capacity building on establishment and implementation of sandbox environments.

• Development of Playbooks to support local, regional and global stakeholders in establishing and implementing sandboxes.
