The Centre aims to accelerate the development of an anticipatory approach to agile policy development. This approach would provide stakeholders with a safe space for experimentation, encourage innovation, and attract investment in the digital ecosystem.

Policy experimentation, under the Centre, will entail policy assessment, recommendation or development towards transition to innovation-driven digital economies with the following value proposition:

• Enhancing the enabling environment for innovation and digital technologies across the ecosystem.

• Strengthening institutional capacities in the ICT-centric innovation ecosystem.

• Mainstreaming public sector innovation in decision-making, regulation and policy implementation.

The Centre intends to provide a sandbox environment as well as orchestrate policy and regulatory agility towards the transition to innovation-driven digital economies.
